The Foamflower is a herbaceous perennial flower that is grown in gardens due to its small, neat foliage of white flowers. Even though this plant grows slowly, it can be used as an excellent groundcover that spreads through underground rhizomes. The white airy flowers attract various pollinators. This plant thrives in moist forests, coves, and bottomlands. It is not tolerant to dry conditions. It is native to Nova Scotia – Appalachian Mountains to Alabama West to Minnesota.
