This fast growing, deciduous willow tree typically grows to 70-80′ tall on single or multiple curved trunks. Typically 1-2′ thick, rounded but sometimes irregular crown. Wet soils of floodplains, stream/river banks, swamps marshes, sloughs, and ponds are ideal for this tree. It is native to the U.S. from Maine to Florida and Colorado to Texas. It has gold/yellow or green flowers that bloom in the springtime.
